HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Volunteers are the heart of hospice, giving
the gift of their time and themselves.
As a hospice volunteer for Generations HealthCare,
LLC you will:
- share your special talents and interests
to help enrich the lives of others
- be recognized as an important member of our
patient care team
- set your own level of commitment based on your
time availability
- receive professional training to provide resources
and support
Volunteers fill many roles at Generations HealthCare,
LLC. Our staff will work with you to find the volunteer position
that best suits your interests and abilities.
Your special caring and compassion will be the
keys to your success however you choose to contribute.
- Companion Volunteers
provide comfort and companionship to patients and families in
a home setting, hospital or nursing home.
- Bereavement Volunteers
offer support to families by making phone calls or sending cards
following the death of a loved one.
- Administrative Volunteers
assist our office staff with phone calls, mailing projects, and
record keeping.
- Special Projects Volunteers
enhance our programs by helping with arts and crafts, music and
entertainment.
- Community Liaison Volunteers
assist with promoting hospice awareness and education within the
community.
